Privacy Notice

Last updated: 16 April 2026. This notice describes how DigiVerse ("we", "us", or "our") handles personal information when you visit https://digiverse.ie (the "Site") or interact with us through the Site (for example, contact or enquiry forms).

1. Who is responsible

DigiVerse is the controller of personal information described in this notice for the purposes described below. If you engage us under a separate contract, additional privacy terms may apply to that relationship and will be shared with you as part of onboarding or in the relevant agreement.

2. What information we collect

Depending on how you use the Site, we may collect:

  • Information you give us for example, name, work email, company, job title, phone number, and the content of messages or enquiries you submit through forms or when you communicate with us.
  • Technical and usage information for example, IP address, browser type and version, device type, general location derived from IP, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies where enabled (see below).

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • operate, secure, and improve the Site and our communications;
  • respond to enquiries, provide information you request, and manage prospective client conversations;
  • understand how the Site is used so we can improve content and user experience;
  • comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and protect our rights, users, and systems;
  • send administrative messages related to your enquiry or our relationship, where appropriate.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the Site to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated means.

4. Legal bases (UK / EEA)

Where UK or EEA data protection law applies, we rely on one or more of the following: (a) legitimate interests in operating and promoting our business, securing the Site, and responding to enquiries, balanced against your rights; (b) contract steps at your request before entering a contract, or performance of a contract; (c) legal obligation; and (d) where required, consent (for example, for certain cookies or marketing, where we ask for it separately).

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We may use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for the Site to function, and, where permitted, analytics or preference cookies to understand usage. You can control many cookies through your browser settings. If we use non-essential cookies that require consent under applicable law, we will provide a clear way to accept or reject them when that functionality is in place.

6. Who we share information with

We may share personal information with:

  • Service providers who host the Site, deliver email, provide analytics, or support our operations, under contracts that require them to protect information and use it only for the purposes we specify;
  • Professional advisers where needed (for example, lawyers or auditors);
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

If DigiVerse is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards and notices where required by law.

7. International transfers

We may process or store information in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, and other countries where we or our service providers operate. If we transfer personal information from the UK or EEA to countries that are not recognised as providing an adequate level of protection, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses approved by regulators, unless another lawful transfer mechanism applies.

8. How long we keep information

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this notice, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. Enquiry and marketing-related records are typically kept for a limited period after our last interaction with you, unless we need to retain them for legal claims, compliance, or ongoing business discussions.

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, or alteration. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; we encourage you to use strong passwords where relevant and to contact us if you believe your interaction with us has been compromised.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, to object to certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise rights or ask questions, please use our Contact page. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

11. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 16 (or the age required by local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12. Links to other sites

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. This notice does not apply to those sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing personal information to them.

13. Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes, we will take additional steps where required by law (for example, posting a notice on the Site or seeking consent).

14. Contact

For privacy-related requests or questions, please reach us through our Contact page. Our Terms of Use also apply to your use of the Site.
